Raleigh Police Make Arrest in Schaub Drive Homicide

Raleigh Police Department Detectives have arrested and charged Vanessa Martinez Cruz (DOB 9/1/96) with Murder in the death of John Anthony Ledford, 31. A photo of Cruz is attached.
At approximately 9:48 p.m. on October 30, Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of Schaub Drive. Upon arrival, they located Ledford who was deceased. An investigation is ongoing.
