Child Care Services Association (CCSA) is available to provide referral assistance to families seeking childcare. They offer a wide range of services to help families find, evaluate, and pay for quality childcare services. The association’s referral specialists will conduct custom searches for families based on preferences and provide details about the childcare program that meets each family’s needs. NC Child Care Resource and Referral Council (CCR&R) is working to partner with the North Carolina Division of Child Care Development and Early Education (NCDCDEE) to deliver carefully vetted essential services and supports for employers and parents. Learn more.
NC Early Childhood Foundation (NCECF) brings together ages birth-through-eight health, family support and education leaders across sectors to advance the action for impact for children and families. Family Forward NC, an initiative of the NCECF, is a system of support for all children and their caretakers to be set up for success in response to COVID-19 and the changing workforce. Family Forward NC staff will work with employers and employment agencies to retool workforce strategy including workforce development policies, health/well-being initiatives for employees and their children, a flexible and family-friendly workplace, and can serve as a consultant to small organizations and companies that do not have HR staff. City of Raleigh Parks and Cultural Recreation Resources provides several childcare and out of school activities to support children and youth. Youth and Teen Programs has modified existing programming to continue offering school-based programs, summer camp and recreation opportunities to children in grades K-8 and teens ages 12-18.
