Event Times: 7:00am - 8:00pm on 9-20-19, 9-21-19, and 9-22-19

Associated Road Closures: No roads will be closed for the event. Nash Square will be used from 7:00am on 9-20-19 until 8:00pm on 9-22-19.

 

Capital City Bikefest

Warehouse District & S. Saunders Street

Friday, September 20 – Sunday, September 22

Event Times: 8:00am - 8:00pm on 9-20-19, 9-21-19, and 9-22-19

Associated Road Closures: S. Saunders Street between Grissom Street and Hammell Drive, and Fuller Street between Grissom Street and the dead-end will be closed from 8:00am on 9-20-19 until 8:00pm on 9-22-19. S. Harrington Street between W. Martin Street and W. Davie Street will be closed from 8:00am until 6:00pm on 9-21-19.

City Plaza

Friday, September 20

Event Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Associated Road Closures: No roads will be closed for the event. Off-street portions of City Plaza will be used from 10:30am until 3:00pm.

 

Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run

North Hills & Shelley Lake

Saturday, September 21

Event Time: 8:30am - 1:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Dixon Drive between the entrance to Sanderson High School and North Hills Drive and North Hills Drive between Dixon Drive and Northclift Drive will be closed from 8:30am until 9:15am, and again from 10:30am until 11:00am. Northclift Drive between North Hills Drive and Whittier Drive will be closed from 10:30am until 11:00am. Snelling Branch Trail and Mine Creek Trail will be used from 8:30am until 11:00am. View route here and note that cross streets will be detoured during the event.

Saturday, September 21

Event Time: 9:00am - 7:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Jones Street and Edenton Street between N. Wilmington Street and N. Salisbury Street will be closed from 6:00pm on 9-20-19 until 11:59pm on 9-21-19.

 

Community Outreach

Heath Street

Saturday, September 21

Event Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Heath Street between Poole Road and Cross Street and Cross Street between Heath Street and S. Carver Street will be closed from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

 

Milk Fest

Tucker Street

Saturday, September 21

Event Time: 12:00pm - 9:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Tucker Street between Glenwood Avenue and the entrance to the 510 Glenwood Parking Deck will be closed from 9:00am until 11:00pm. Note that local traffic will have access to and from the Glenwood Parking Deck.

 

Fall Jazz Brunch

Dorothea Dix Park, Flowers Field

Sunday, September 22

Event Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Dawkins Drive will be closed from 8:00am until 3:00pm. Flowers Field will also be used during this time.

 

La Fiesta del Pueblo

Fayetteville Street District

Sunday, September 22

Event Time: 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Fayetteville Street between Morgan Street and Lenoir Street and Hargett Street, Martin Street, and Davie Street between S. Salisbury Street and S. Wilmington Street will be closed from 4:00am until 11:59pm. Note that local traffic will have access to the 500 block of Fayetteville Street.

 

Triangle Heart Walk

PNC Arena & Route

Sunday, September 22

Event Time: 12:30pm - 4:00pm

Associated Road Closures: Roads will be closed from 2:00pm until 4:00pm to facilitate the route. Note that one lane of impacted roads will remain open to vehicular traffic during the event, and see below for turn by turn details:

 

Start on PNC Arena property; Left onto Westchase Boulevard; Right onto Blue Ridge Road; Right onto Trinity Road; Take second right to return to PNC Arena property.

The following roads will be closed beginning at 6:00pm on 9-26-19 for setup:

 

- Fayetteville Street between Morgan Street and Lenoir Street

- Hargett Street between S. Salisbury Street and Fayetteville Street

- Martin Street between S. Salisbury Street and S. Wilmington Street

- Davie Street between S. Salisbury Street and S. Wilmington Street

- Cabarrus Street between S. McDowell Street and S. Salisbury Street

- Gale Street between W. Cabarrus Street and the southern entrance of the parking deck

- Lenoir Street between S. Dawson Street and S. McDowell Street
