New MWBE Coordinator 

 

 

The City of Raleigh, MWBE Program is pleased to announce that Lekesha Shaw has joined our team as a MWBE Coordinator.  She joins Maria Torres, coordinator and Cheryl Sutton, program manager in helping to provide continued growth to the MWBE Program.

Lekesha formerly worked with Raleigh Area Development Authority (RADA) as their Executive Director.  She left to broaden her experience and further develop her skill set and professional outreach.  Lekesha is well versed in numerous area such as; community engagement, resource allocation, grant management, developing community partnerships, and is well on her way to adding minority business development to her capability statement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from William Peace University.
