Raleigh Police Make Arrest in Verizon Wireless Store Crash

Raleigh Police Department officers have charged Charles Michael Hager (DOB 7/22/44) with six counts of Assault With a Dangerous Weapon and Damage to Property in connection with the July 26 vehicle crash into the Verizon Wireless store located at 4421 Six Forks Road.
At 8:35 p.m. on July 26, officers responded to a call at the Verizon Wireless store. Upon arrival, they found that Hager had kicked the front door of the building, breaking glass. He then drove his vehicle through the glass storefront of the building; six Verizon Wireless employees were in the store at the time. No one was injured. Hager was arrested and transported to the Wake County Detention Center.
