John Chavis Memorial Park in Permitting Phase
Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2018. Phase 1 implementation priorities include: a new community center, multi-functional central plaza, new playground area and renovations to the original carousel house.
Brentwood Park Master Plan
The Brentwood draft master plan will be presented to City Council on April 17, 2018. Following adoption of the park master plan, priority items from the master plan will be implemented.
Barwell Road Park Improvements
Priorities from the recently adopted Barwell Park Master Plan will be implemented to include a new playground and a multi-purpose field.
Millbrook Dog Park Now Open
Construction at Millbrook Exchange Dog Park has recently been completed and the park is now open. Improvements include: new drinking fountains, improved drainage and surfacing, picnic tables and benches, agility equipment and a shade structure.
