If you’re interested in how a site is transformed into an extraordinary public park – this lunchtime talk is for you. Come meet landscape architect and MVVA president Michael Van Valkenburgh and Principal Matthew Urbanski as well as other members of the planning team for Dorothea Dix Park. Michael and Matthew will share insights into their design approach and lessons-learned from the firm’s public park projects around the country. Most importantly, they’ll share what makes the opportunity today at Raleigh’s Dix Park so unique and significant for the city, the region, and the state. Also, learn how you can get involved in the planning process moving forward.

All events are free and open to the public. Registrations not required and no reservations are needed. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch or dinner to the talks.
