City of Raleigh Special Events
Hillsborough and Fayetteville Streets
Saturday, November 21
Event time: 9:30am – 12:00pm
Associated road closures:
The following roads will be closed from 6:00am until 2:00pm to facilitate the parade staging:

Hillsborough Street between W. Morgan Street and Boylan Avenue
-
St. Mary’s Street between W. Jones Street and W. Morgan Street
-
Snow Avenue between W. Morgan Street and Hillsborough Street
The following roads will be closed no earlier than 7:00am until no later than 2:00pm to facilitate the parade route:

Start at Hillsborough Street and St. Mary’s Street and head east
-
Right onto Salisbury Street
-
Left onto Morgan Street
-
Right onto Fayetteville Street
-
Right onto Davie Street or
-
Right onto Lenoir Street to disassemble
NOTE: All cross roads one block in each direction will be detoured, and additional road closures and detours may be established to control traffic near the route.
IPREO Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink
City Plaza Astroturf
Saturday, November 21
Event time: 11:00am – 11:00pm
No associated road closures; the ice rink will open immediately after the WRAL Raleigh Christmas Parade and will remain open through January 31, 2016.
Blount Street
Sunday, November 22
Event time: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Associated road closures: The 200 block of Blount Street between Martin and Hargett Streets will be closed from 11:00am until 11:00pm.
Skinny Turkey Half Marathon and Just Think First 5K
Wakefield Plantation Drive
Thursday, November 26
Event time: 7:00am – 10:30am
Associated road closures: Roads will be closed from 7:30am until 10:45am to facilitate the half marathon and 5k routes. View route here.
Ridge Road
Thursday, November 26
Event time: 8:00am – 9:30am
Associated road closures: Ridge Road between Wade Avenue and Leonard Street will be closed from 5:00am until 10:00am to facilitate the start/finish location. The race route will be closed from 8:00am until 9:30am, and all roads one block in each direction will be detoured. View route here.
