Hummingbird Morning with Cape Fear Bird Observatory (CFBO)
Come experience an extraordinary close‑up look at Ruby‑throated Hummingbirds as the CFBO team demonstrates the fascinating process of hummingbird banding. During this hands‑on educational program, you’ll learn how researchers safely trap and handle hummingbirds, apply tiny identification bands, and collect important scientific data that supports long‑term conservation.
You’ll have opportunities to ask questions about hummingbirds and get practical advice on feeder selection, landscaping, and other ways to support hummingbirds on your own property.

Airlie Art Exhibit: unFROGettable
Now in its 14th year, Airlie Gardens' annual art exhibit returns with unFrogettable. The exhibit features ten oversized fiberglass frog sculptures uniquely decorated, painted, or otherwise adorned by a select group of artists. The frogs are on display throughout the grounds.
