Birding2026

Bird Walk 

  Enjoy a peaceful stroll around the grounds without the crowds as we see what’s flying! During this guided walk, you’ll look for resident and migrating birds and learn basic birding skills.

~No experience necessary – all are welcome!
~Binoculars available (first-come, first-serve)
~Recommended for ages 12 and up.

      Date/Time: February 11th; 8:00-9:30am

 Join our environmental educators in the classroom to learn about one of Airlie Gardens' largest birds, the Bald Eagle! Following a lecture in the classroom, we will venture out into the Garden to see if we can spot any with our binoculars and birding scope. Register here.

Join us for a guided walk through the gardens to learn all about our featured plant species: the camellia! Camellias thrive and bloom during the winter months, adding vibrant color to the landscape and providing an important food source for native wildlife year-round. Register Here.
