Pool Season is Winding Down!

  The Echo Farms Pool has been busy this year! As the season comes to a close, schedule changes are ahead.

  ~ Closed: August 25–29
  ~ Reopens: Saturday, August 30
  ~ September Hours: Weekends only until the 
     season ends Sunday, September 21

  Daily Admission: $4 Adults • $2 Kids (17 & under)
Pool passes are valid through the end of the season. The only water aerobics classes remaining this season will be offered through the Senior Resource Center. Call (910) 798-6450 to register.

       Tuesdays: 5:00pm–6:00pm.
       Wednesdays & Fridays: 8:30am–9:30am

Long Leaf Park Splash Pad 

   The splash pad at Long Leaf Park will remain open until September 30th at which time it will close for the season. Hours are 9:00am until 7:30pm daily. You still have time to bring the kids and make a splash!

Photography

Wildlife Photography Workshop

  Join biologist, Dr. Wayne Hoffman, for a morning of wildlife photography at Airlie Gardens on September 18th from 8am-10am. Learn the basics of wildlife photography, tips for shooting with a telephoto lens, best practices in photography ethics, and why Airlie Gardens is such a hotspot for photographers.
  This program is designed for beginner to intermediate photographers. A medium-length telephoto lens (300mm or greater) is strongly recommended. Open to participants 18 and older only. Registration is required and space is limited. WildlifePhotographyWorkshop

Park Pop-Up

Park Pop-Ups

  Join us for two Park Pop-Up events this September at Long Leaf and Smith Creek Park! Our environmental educators will be on hand with informal educational materials covering a variety of topics.

  ~ Smith Creek Park – September 19 | 1:00pm–5:00pm

  ~ Long Leaf Park – September 22 | 9:00am–1:00pm

  There is no cost to attend — no registration required. Just pop on by!
