North Carolina Arbor Day

  Arbor Day in North Carolina will be celebrated on Friday, March 21st. Arbor Day is a day to recognize the benefits that trees give to our communities. It's also a great time to plant a tree or just go outside and spend some time in nature. Here are some things you can do to celebrate the day:

  ~ Plant a Tree
  ~ Get outside and spend some time in nature
  ~ Join us for a "Spring Bloom Walk" on Friday, 
      March 7th from 10-11am. Register Here.
  ~ Participate in a "Tree Walk" at Airlie Gardens on
     Thursday, March 27th from 2-3:30pm. Register Here.

TryTennis

Try Tennis!

   Try Tennis is a beginner-friendly instructional program perfect for those new to the game or picking up a racket after years away. Designed for both adults and juniors, participants will work with a tennis instructor to build fundamental skills and gain the confidence to play a beginner match.

       When:   Monday, March 10–Monday, March 31
       Where:  Echo Farms Park
       Time:
     6:00pm – 7:30pm
       Age:      18 and up
       Cost:     $40.00

TrailsEndPierOpen

Trails End Pier Now Open!

  After several weeks of upgrades, the Trails End Pier is now open! New gangways were added, and the pier and floats were extended as far waterward as possible. When you're out and about, stop by and see the improvements. Trails End Park is located at 613 Trails End Road. For more information about trails end park, Click Here.

Blooms & Brews

Blooms & Brews at Airlie Gardens

    Celebrate the vibrant beauty of spring at Airlie Gardens' Blooms & Brews! This annual event supports the care and preservation of Airlie’s renowned floral collections, featuring over 75,000 azaleas, 30,000 tulips, and 4,000 camellia cultivars.

  Enjoy an evening on the scenic Oak Lawn with:

~ Gourmet Hors D’oeuvres by Middle of the
    Island Catering
~ Special Spring Brew crafted by Mad Mole
    Brewing
~ Live Music by The Dram Fam Jam Band
~
Desserts by One Belle Bakery & Imaginary Cakes
