Echo Farms Pool &
August Aqua Aerobics

   Our pool has seen lots of visitors so far this summer, in spite of rain we experienced in July. Below is our schedule for August. (Please keep in mind that the schedule is subject to changed based on weather conditions at the pool location.)

Pool hours are as follows:
Adult Lap Swim
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 7am-9am

Public Swim
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 11am - 6pm
Tuesday: 11-5pm
Friday: 10-7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am-6pm

Water Aerobics
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10am-10:45am; Saturdays from 9:9:45am.

Note:  The Senior Resource Center also conducts water aerobics classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Those classes are scheduled and run by them. Please call (910) 798-6350 or email awies@nhcgov.com for more information.

Airlie after Dark…Experience the Gardens at Twilight!

  Join us for an enchanting evening stroll through the gardens as night falls. Explore how your senses adapt to the changing light and delve into the fascinating world of nocturnal animals. We'll discuss their unique adaptations and, if we're lucky, spot some of these elusive creatures on our nature walk. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the beauty and mystery of the gardens after dark!

Pollinator Census

Join Us for the 2024 Southeastern Pollinator Census Count!

   We are proud to participate in the 2024 Southeastern Pollinator Census count! Join us as we celebrate and appreciate the insects that play a crucial role in our ecosystem. Our garden educators will provide a brief lesson on the importance of pollinators. Learn how to participate in the survey with guided instructions from our experts.
  This FREE event will take place at Smith Creek Park on Saturday, August 24th beginning at 10:00am. We will meet at the informational sign near the covered picnic shelter.  This program is suitable for ages 8 and up. Please note, the event will be canceled in the case of inclement weather as it is held outdoors.
