Enjoyment for the Whole Family!
Celebrate family, friends, and everyone's favorite Goose Dog, Reilly, at Family Fun Night at Airlie Gardens! Join us on Saturday, July 18, from 5:00–8:00 PM for a special after-hours event designed for the young—and the young at heart. Enjoy an evening filled with: • Educational exhibits and interactive booths • Games, crafts & face painting • Live music and entertainment by Mr. Scooter • Food and beverages available for purchase • And much more!
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Wagons and strollers are welcome, too! Admission is just $15 per carload and includes on-site parking and entry for everyone in the vehicle. Tickets are limited, and this event is expected to sell out, so be sure to purchase yours early! Turtle Talk/Feeding
Join one of our Environmental Educators in the classroom for a special encounter with Boxy the turtle, one of Airlie Gardens' ambassador animals! Discover the fascinating world of native reptiles as you learn about their unique characteristics, habitats, and adaptations. You'll even have the opportunity to watch Boxy enjoy a snack!

Park Pop Up: Hanover Pines Nature Park
Come on out on July 21st for our park Pop-Up. This is a free drop-in program hosted by our Environmental Educators! Each month we share different biofacts and resources for guests to stop by and asks questions. This month's topic: Moths of New Hanover County. We will have moth scavenger hunts, a mothing blanket on the boardwalk, and more moth related biofacts! Staff will be there from 6:30-8:30pm. Hanover Pines Nature Park is located at 6101 Carolina Beach Road.
