Fall is the perfect time to get outdoors and explore your county parks and gardens! There's lots to explore on your own, or you can participate in the following programs and activities:
Nature Discovery Kits
Explore Airlie Gardens in a new way by checking out one of our Nature Discovery Kits! The kits contain activities and books to help you learn about Airlie Gardens and all the beautiful plants and animals that live there. Topics include nature journaling, birds, plants, pollination and animal adaptations. Kits are recommended for elementary-age children, but anyone is welcome to check them out. Check out is free - just leave a drivers license or set of keys with the ticket agent. More Information

Airlie Gardens Evening Programs
Experience Airlie Gardens after hours with these cool new evening educational programs:
Owl Prowl & Birding Evening Tues, Oct 11 or Wed, Oct 26 6-7:30pm
Airlie After Dark Fri. Oct 28 6-7:30pm
These programs are recommended for ages 8+, and cost $5/Adults (13+), $3/Children (8-12) and half off for Airlie Members. Pre-registration is required at AirlieGardens.org.

"Fall" Back into Tennis at Echo Farms Park
Round Robins Echo Farms' Round Robins are back on the Fall schedule with men's, women's, co-ed and beginner sessions. Groups are based on skill level, and each 1.5-hour session costs $3/person. View the schedule and register at ParksReservations.NHCgov.com.
Intro to Tennis for Seniors Learn the basic skills of tennis in a clinic designed for seniors new to the game or rediscovering the sport. All equipment is provided and there is no fee to attend. This 4-week session begins October 10 at 11am. Space is limited - Call (910) 798-6450 to learn more and register.
