Spring is here and the blooms at Airlie Gardens are a sight to see! There are over 75,000 azaleas throughout the grounds, and our staff has planted over 60,000 spring bulbs. Peak bloom is dependent on the weather, but typically takes place between mid-March through mid-April. Advance tickets are required for garden admission, so be sure to purchase your tickets at AirlieGardens.org before you arrive.
*New Hanover County Residents FREE Day at Airlie is April 3. Tickets must be reserved in advance and tend to "sell" out quickly during the spring months. Click here to reserve tickets.
*Airlie will be closed for a private event on Friday, April 8.
*The Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour will take place April 8-10. Airlie will be open Saturday and Sunday only. Visit capefeargardenclub.org to learn more and purchase tickets.

NEW Program- Family Sun Printing
Learn about how the sun impacts our world and plays a major role in the lives of plants and animals. Then we'll create our own work of art using found objects and sun paper. Program will take place at Airlie Gardens on Monday, April 11 from 4-5pm. Cost is $9/adults, $5/NHC residents & military, $3/children (4-12) and free for Airlie Members. Trash Mob
Are you tired of seeing litter along the roads of New Hanover County? Then, join the TRASH MOB! The volunteer group meets at 10am on the third Wednesday of each month at various locations around the county to pick up litter. The Parks Conservancy provides all the supplies (safety vests, gloves, bags and trash pickers). Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. April's Trash Mob is meeting on April 20 to pick up litter on Carolina Beach Rd by the site of the coming Hanover Pines Nature Park. Click here for more information and parking/meeting location.

Yoga in the Gardens
Longwave Yoga is coming back to Airlie Gardens for a 6-week spring yoga series! Classes will take place on the Oak Lawn on Wednesdays, April 20-May 25 from 6-7pm, and are suitable for all skill levels- beginner to advanced. Cost is $14 per class and pre-registration is required.
