July is Park and Recreation Month
Parks are the center of so many experiences and memories. Our local parks are often our first experiences in nature or our introduction to a favorite hobby or physical activity. They are places to gather with friends and family, spaces to celebrate life's special moments and spots of respite and healing. The theme for this year's Park and Recreation Month is "Our Park and Recreation Story." This month we'll be highlighting stories of how our community is stronger, more vibrant and more resilient because of parks and recreation on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
We'd love to hear your park and recreation story! Click here to share your story via our website or share it on social media, use the hashtag #OurParkandRecStory and tag us:
