Plant an Azalea Week
The first week in April is Plant an Azalea Week. This week celebrates the importance of the azalea to our community and encourages residents to plant azaleas. The Cape Fear Garden Club will kick off the week on Thursday, April 1 by planting more than 70 azaleas at Airlie Gardens. You can help plant azaleas in New Hanover County's parks and gardens by donating to the Plant an Azalea program.
