Help Design a New Park!

New Hanover County has the opportunity to create a passive recreation park in the southern part of the county and we need your help!  Battle Park is a 42.5-acre property located on Carolina Beach Rd., just south of Manassas Dr.  Parks & Gardens is currently in the design phase of turning this land into a passive park, and we're looking for input from the community.  There are two opportunities to give input into the park's design:

1.  Public Open House
Tues, Feb 4th from 5:30-7pm
Pine Valley Library Osprey Room - 3802 S. College Rd.
Citizens are invited to drop in during this time period and share their ideas on what they would like to see in the park.

2.  Online Survey
An online survey is available through Feb 14th.  Click here to take the survey.

For more information and updates on this project, visit Parks.NHCgov.com/BattlePark.
