Hurricane Recovery Update

|
New Hanover County Parks & Gardens facilities suffered quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Florence. Thanks to the hard work of our staff, volunteers, and contractors, most of our parks and facilities have re-opened with exception of the following.
The following parks & facilities are closed while we complete storm clean-up:
Blue Clay Bike Park |
Hugh MacRae Nature Trail |
Pickleball Courts
The Pickleball Courts at Northern Regional Park are complete and ready for play! The original two tennis courts were converted into six pickleball courts.
|
Kings Grant Park
Basketball Courts are scheduled to be completed by November 2nd. New playground and picnic shelter installations will begin in November. More info here.
Ogden Skatepark
Repairs to the Skatepark bowl are scheduled to begin November 12th and should take a week to complete. Concrete installation in the bottom bowl will take place later in November. |
