Food Truck Rodeo

Join us on Sunday, April 29th from 12-5pm as the largest Food Truck Rodeo in Southeastern NC rolls back to Ogden Park!  We have a record 26 food trucks scheduled to attend and live music by Boba Funk.  All your local favorites like Catch and P.T.’s Olde Fashioned Grille will be there, as well as, new trucks like Port City Puffs N Stuff and The Little Chef.  We even have trucks coming all the way from Raleigh!  The event is free to attend- just bring money to purchase your food and drinks.  The food trucks will give a portion of their sales for the day back to the Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County.  More Information

The Splashpad is OPEN

The splashpad at Hugh MacRae Park is officially open for the season!  It is open daily from 9am-sunset, April-October.  Don't forget that we have a loaner water wheelchair that is free to use for those whose mobility devices cannot tolerate moisture.  To use the water wheelchair, contact the parks and gardens office at (910) 798-7620.  Learn more about the splashpad rules and safety on our website.

Pages Creek Park Preserve

Have you been to Pages Creek Park Preserve lately?  If so, you've probably noticed some new additions.  The preserve has two new educational signs located along the one-mile nature trail.  Now you can learn about the salt marsh and the birds that live there while getting your exercise.  Pages Creek is also a great place to go geocaching!  Visit our website for more information.
