Food Truck Rodeo
Join us on Sunday, April 29th from 12-5pm as the largest Food Truck Rodeo in Southeastern NC rolls back to Ogden Park!
We have a record 26 food trucks scheduled to attend and live music by Boba
Funk. All your local favorites like
Catch and P.T.’s Olde Fashioned Grille will be there, as well as, new
trucks like Port City Puffs N Stuff and The Little Chef. We even have trucks coming all the way from Raleigh! The event is free to attend- just bring money
to purchase your food and drinks. The
food trucks will give a portion of their sales for the day back to the Parks

The Splashpad is OPEN
The splashpad at Hugh MacRae Park is officially open for the season! It is open daily from 9am-sunset, April-October. Don't forget that we have a loaner water wheelchair that is free to use for those whose mobility devices cannot tolerate moisture. To use the water wheelchair, contact the parks and gardens office at (910) 798-7620. Pages Creek Park Preserve
Have you been to Pages Creek Park Preserve lately? If so, you've probably noticed some new additions. The preserve has two new educational signs located along the one-mile nature trail. Now you can learn about the salt marsh and the birds that live there while getting your exercise. Pages Creek is also a great place to go geocaching! Master Gardener Annual Plant Sale
Come to the NHC Arboretum to purchase locally grown herbs, vegetables, flowers (including annuals and perennials), shrubs, trees, rose bushes, and more. Chat with master gardener volunteers for advice on planting and long-term plant care. This must-see event for local and regional gardeners, with several acres of plants available to purchase, is free and open to the public. Earth Day Festival
Come to Hugh MacRae Park for the annual Wilmington Earth Day Festival. This year’s event will be filled with local environmentally-minded exhibitors and vendors, live music, a guided meditation for global healing, a KidsZone with special activities for children, food, drinks, and more. Free shuttles will be available from the NHC Government Center and Dreams of Wilmington. Admission is free. More Information

Earth Day Yoga at Airlie Gardens
Celebrate Earth Day in gratitude for Mother Nature with yoga on the Oak Lawn at Airlie Gardens with LONGWAVE YOGA! This class is sure to be fun for both beginners and experienced yogis. Bring your mat and/or towel. Stick around after class to make a seed bomb to take home and plant. The cost is just $16/person and Airlie Gardens members get a $5 discount! Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour
Airlie Gardens is honored to be part of the 64th Annual Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour. An official event of the North Carolina Azalea Festival, the tour is one of the longest running and most popular garden tours in the South. Gardens are open 10am-6pm daily April 13-15th. Airlie Gardens will be closed on Friday, April 13th for a private event. Tickets are $25/each and are good for all three days (except for Friday at Airlie Gardens).
