fit challenge 2

Get fit for a great cause!  Join us at Hugh MacRae Park for a morning of outdoor fun and fitness on Saturday, Feb 24th from 8am-12pm.  Your favorite instructors will be on hand teaching classes like yoga, boot camp and more!  Classes are just $15/each and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County.  The Parks Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to care for and improve our county parks through beautification and improvements such as the Coastal Challenge Course at Northern Regional Park.  Class size is limited so get your tickets today!  More Information & Tickets

Airlie Gardens is looking for artists or teams of artists to decorate, paint, and adorn one of 15 oversized fiberglass garden gnomes for our sixth annual Summer Art Exhibit.  The five-foot-tall fiberglass garden gnomes will be placed throughout the grounds from July through October for guests to enjoy as part of their summer garden experience.  Artists must apply and designs will be selected based on creativity, craftsmanship, use of materials, the ability to appeal to all age groups, outdoor sustainability and durability.  Applications are due by Wednesday, February 28th.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available for your business or organization!  More Information
