Amazing Studios, a media production company, recently won two gold American Advertising Awards for producing the Knightdale Veterans Day promotional video. The company collaborated with our Community Relations department to create a stunning marketing visual.
The two awards, presented by the Triangle American Advertising Federation, were presented for Elements of Advertising “Cinematography” - Film & Video, and Film, Video & Sound - Branded Content & Entertainment.
Knightdale is proud to be a community that supports and welcomes veterans, and we were honored to work with Amazing Studios to help tell that story with this project.
As we kick off an exciting new year, the Knightdale Commerce Alliance is continuing our mission to strengthen, support, and elevate the local business community. To make sure we’re building programs and resources that truly meet your needs, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 2026 Knightdale Business Needs Survey!
This new survey is designed to give every business—large or small, new or established—a meaningful voice in shaping the future of business support in Knightdale. Your feedback will directly guide our priorities for workshops, resources, communication efforts, and initiatives throughout the year.
What the Survey Covers
We’ve designed this survey to be thorough, actionable, and worth your time. It includes questions about:
- Operational challenges facing your business
- Workforce and hiring needs
- Access to capital and financial support
- Infrastructure or regulatory concerns
- Technology, marketing, and digital readiness
- Desired resources, training, and support programs
- Your overall experience doing business in Knightdale
Every response gives us clearer insight into how we can better serve you—and where we should focus our efforts as we continue growing the Knightdale Commerce Alliance.
Why Your Feedback Matters
Our goal is simple: to help your business thrive. When you share your experiences and needs, you help us:
- Develop new programs tailored to real challenges
- Plan more effective networking and training opportunities
- Improve communication between the Town and local businesses
- Strengthen Knightdale’s business ecosystem as a whole
The more voices we hear, the stronger our collective impact will be.
Help Shape Knightdale’s Business Future
We encourage every business—home‑based, storefront, corporate, or nonprofit—to participate. Your perspective matters, and your input will play a key role in taking the Knightdale Commerce Alliance to the next level this year.
Thank you in advance for your time, honesty, and partnership. Together, we can build an even stronger environment for innovation, growth, and shared success.

Knightdale's Stormwater team, in conjunction with the NC Clean Water Education Partnership (CWEP), hosted the 2026 Regional Creek Week event in town. The week was full of events that focused on preserving the environment and celebrating the streams and rivers that sustain and connect us.
Residents enjoyed a StoryWalk at the Knightdale Environmental Park, a volunteer litter sweep, a shred-a-thon, and a milkweed seed giveaway. Mayor Day also led a tree planting event in honor of Arbor Day, and in honor of Knightdale receiving a TreeCity USA designation for the 25th year in a row!
As sustainability is a key pillar in Knightdale's Strategic Plan, we are honored to host Creek Week every year, and we can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's event and made it the success it was!
This month several of our Town Council members visited a really exciting project happening right here in our town, Duke Energy’s Knightdale Battery Energy Storage Project. This is Duke Energy’s largest-ever battery and first 100-megawatt battery, and it has the capacity to provide electricity to 10,000 homes for two hours during peak periods. This storage will also allow energy to be stored and released when customers need the power most. It will also help improve electrical grid efficiency, reduce grid congestion, and provide reliable, affordable clean energy for customers.
Noted tour guests included our councilors Stephen Morgan and Mayor Pro Tem Steve Evans, NC Representative James Roberson, Wake County Commissioner Don Mial, Sheriff Willie Rowe, and Raleigh mayor Janet Cowell. We’re very excited about this project and Duke Energy’s choice for Knightdale to house such an important energy resource for our region.
