This month, Knightdale proudly celebrated the continued growth of one of its long‑standing business partners, The Tennie Group, LLC, during a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the expansion and remodeling of their corporate office. Located right here in Knightdale, The Tennie Group has served as a trusted tax, accounting, and business development resource for years — and their newly expanded space reflects their ongoing commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and families.
During the event on January 7, 2026, The Tennie Group officially unveiled its transformed office, designed to serve as a one‑stop, wrap‑around facility for clients seeking support with taxation, payroll, business structure, and financial development. The celebration brought together community leaders, regional partners, and local supporters to witness this exciting milestone.
One of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony was the dedication of the firm’s newly remodeled conference room to Representative James A. Roberson, honoring his invaluable contributions to their growth and to the business community at large. This tribute highlights the strong connection between The Tennie Group and the greater Knightdale community — a partnership built on economic empowerment, service, and shared progress.
With tax season quickly approaching, now is the perfect time for businesses to take advantage of The Tennie Group’s expertise. Whether you need help navigating corporate tax filings, understanding your business structure, or preparing for the year ahead, The Tennie Group remains a reliable and community‑centered starting point. Their long‑standing motto, “Where You Run The Business… We Take Care of the Company,” continues to ring true as they expand their capacity to serve clients across North Carolina.
Knightdale congratulates The Tennie Group on this exciting expansion and thanks them for their continued commitment to lifting up our local business community. We look forward to seeing the impact their next chapter will bring!

Knightdale is full of talent, and the Town is proud to celebrate it! Each month, Town Hall transforms into a gallery space, featuring the work of a local artist whose creativity brings color and character to our community. This initiative not only highlights the incredible artistry found right here in Knightdale but also supports local businesses and entrepreneurs who make our town vibrant.
In January artist Sanantanita Burnette, a watercolor and mixed media artist whose work is inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the kind of simple beauty that helps you slow down and breathe, filled Town hall with amazing art.
And in February we are hosting artist, Melissa Campbell and her Exhibit "Receive"! This exhibit invites you into a safe space where you can receive what you need and release wat no longer serves you.
Check out the links below to see more amazing art by two amazing artists.

Knightdale is bursting with talent, and this year’s Stars in the East talent showcase is set to celebrate the creativity and skill of our local students like never before. Presented by the East Wake Education Foundation in partnership with Wake County Public Schools and Knightdale High School, this community‑centered event highlights the incredible young performers who make Eastern Wake County shine.
Stars in the East brings together singers, dancers, musicians, and performers of all kinds for an inspiring evening of entertainment. Beyond the spotlight, the event is designed to uplift youth, support arts education, and strengthen the connection between our schools and the community.
East Wake Education Foundation continues its mission of nurturing student potential both inside and outside the classroom, and this partnership reflects the power of collaboration. With support from Wake County Public Schools and Knightdale High School, the showcase creates a platform where students can build confidence, express themselves, and be celebrated for their hard work and passion.

Knightdale’s young people are the foundation of our community’s future, and our local schools play a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. When businesses and community members invest their time, resources, and expertise into our schools, they help create meaningful opportunities for students to grow, explore career pathways, and build real‑world skills.
By volunteering or partnering with local schools, businesses not only support academic success but also help cultivate a strong, motivated workforce that will ultimately strengthen Knightdale’s economy and enrich our community. The LaunchKnightdale Program is in full swing with participants entering week 5 of the program—and we’re inviting Knightdale businesses to be part of that impact. This year’s cohort will benefit greatly from community support, and there are three meaningful ways to get involved: donating a meal for a class session, contributing funds toward the pitch competition grant, or providing product donations for participating students.
Your support helps strengthen Knightdale’s small business ecosystem, fuels local innovation, and reinforces our shared commitment to economic growth. By investing in these emerging business owners, you’re helping create a more vibrant, resilient community and ensuring Knightdale continues to be a place where entrepreneurs can thrive.
If your business is interested in supporting the cohort, we’d love to connect with you!
