DAV Celebrates Chapter House Renovation With A Ribbon Cutting

Members of the Knightdale Town Council celebrated with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) as they cut the ribbon on their newly renovated facility. Other noted dignitaries included North Carolina State Representative James Roberson and a host of local veterans.

Mayor Pro Tem Steve Evans accepted an award given by the DAV to Knightdale's Parks and Recreation department for their dedication to veteran affairs over the years, allowing DAV a dedicated space to continue serving veterans. The organization also presented an award to Representative Roberson for securing a $100,000 grant that was used to help renovate the Knightdale chapter's house.

If you are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony we will even provide the scissors and ribbon at no cost to the business. So let us know what you have going on with your business because we want to be involved.

Knightdale Restaurants Causing a Scene

Back in August the Town of Knightdale was invited to attend the 2025 GRCVB Annual Meeting. The focus of the meeting this year was Food Forward - Wake County's Restaurant Reputation. We were asked to highlight to restaurant scene in Knightdale and to do so we created three unique promo videos highlighting some local eateries. Below you will find the links to the three videos highlighting Caribbean Kicker a local restaurant and Launch Knightdale Graduate, The Station Nutrition, and Boba Team. A flyer was also created that showcased some Knightdale staples like El Jimador, Prime Barbeque and, The Depot on First.

Prime Barbeque Receives Michelin Recognition

The Town of Knightdale is also thrilled to recognize and celebrate Prime Barbeque on receiving a Bib Gourmand distinction from the Michelin Guide. This award recognizes restaurants that serve great food at a great value. It is inspiring to see a local restaurant receiving national recognition they have also played a huge role in the Knightdale community giving back to those in need and supporting initiatives and events like the Live Like Ryan Golf Tournament.

New In Town -The Lofts at Knightdale Station

The Town of Knightdale is excited to recognize a new member of the Knightdale Business Community. The Lofts at Knightdale Station recently held their ribbon cutting and celebrated their opening with the community and town officials. They are located just across the street from Knightdale Station Park and are now leasing. In conjunction with their ribbon cutting The Lofts also used the opportunity to collect food for a canned food drive. They are committed to building community, and we welcome them to the Town and look forward to all they will do here in Knightdale.

Knights of Cheer

Key Club presents Knights of Cheer on December 6th from 12:00–4:00 PM at Knightdale High School. Students will be making care kits and no-sew fleece blankets for families in need this Christmas. Donations are needed and a link to donate can be found below.

In addition to our service activities, the event will feature:
Pictures with Santa-$5
FFA’s Petting Zoo-$5
Letters to Santa (pre-sale) – $5
And other crafts stations for FREE. **Admission is free**
