Register for the Live Like Ryan Memorial 5K Run
Knightdale Police Officer Ryan Andrew Hayworth was killed in the line of duty on October 17, 2021. The Live Like Ryan (LLR) Memorial 5K is one of many ways the Town of Knightdale has chosen to recognize Officer Hayworth’s service to his community, his country, and his fellow man. The annual event is held on the weekend around the anniversary of Ryan’s death. It is an opportunity for participants to symbolically follow in Ryan’s footsteps and to ensure that his memory and contributions are never forgotten. In doing so, we hope to remind the world around us to embody the best of the human spirit – to Live Like Ryan.
Registration and event proceeds will be donated to the Live Like Ryan Foundation, a charitable organization that bears his name and provides funding assistance for service-minded youth. Sign up today and help us keep Ryan’s legacy alive!
