We held the official ribbon-cutting for the Mingo Creek Greenway Extension! Knightdale is now the first town in Eastern Wake County to connect directly to the Neuse River Greenway, opening up miles of scenic trails for walking, running, and biking. With this connection, you can now travel seamlessly from Knightdale to Raleigh, Clayton, Umstead State Park, Cary, Morrisville, the American Tobacco Trail, and even all the way to Durham!
We’re incredibly proud to offer this expanded greenway as a resource for our residents and visitors, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this beautiful, accessible outdoor space. See you on the trail!
