Families and Community Invited to Help Shape CCS’ Future
Focus groups and survey offer ways to share input on district priorities
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is continuing the development of its 2026-2031 Strategic Plan and invites families and community stakeholders to share feedback through upcoming focus groups or an online survey.
Input from families and the community will help inform district priorities related to teaching and learning, school culture and how CCS partners with families to support student success.
There are two ways to participate, and individuals may choose either or both.
Option 1: Family focus group sessions
One-hour evening focus groups will be held from 6-7 p.m. at the following locations:
-
Feb. 4, 2026 – South View High School
-
Feb. 5, 2026 – Cape Fear High School
Families are encouraged to register in advance at: https://bit.ly/CCS_Family_Registration
Option 2: Online feedback survey
Families and community stakeholders may also share input through an anonymous online survey, available in multiple languages.
Share feedback here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdzbWVIpHRkkIbJJI2BK3isvy3LzgyAM-SPxjBm4b18VytC1A/viewform
Feedback gathered will help guide long-term planning and ensure family and community voices are reflected as Cumberland County Schools plans for the future.
