CCS Superintendent Dr. Bracy, Community Partners to Celebrate First Day of School with Students, Staff
First-Day-of-School Morning LIVE Shots with Dr. Bracy & Classroom Visits
WHEN: Monday, August 25 WHERE: Margaret Willis Elementary School 1412 Belvedere Avenue Fayetteville, NC 28305 WHAT: 6:30-7:15 a.m. News stations will be able to conduct LIVE INTERVIEWS with Superintendent Dr. Eric Bracy about 'all things' back-to-school and this year's theme: "Anchored in Excellence."
7:30-8:00 a.m. Dr. Bracy, CCS mascot Cooper, members of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, and several members of the community will be offering students high-fives and well wishes as they enter the school building for the new year!
8:30-9:15 a.m. Dr. Bracy will tour several classrooms to observe first-day teaching and learning. NOTE: News media may accompany the superintendent; however, because students will not have parental consents, only unidentifiable photos or footage of students, e.g., backs of heads, feet, hands, wide-angle classroom shots, will be allowed.
