Attention, Cumberland County Schools families! Did you know that consistent school attendance is the key to your child’s success? Cumberland County Schools is taking bold steps to combat chronic absenteeism with a revised attendance policy for high school students starting January 1st —and for all grades at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year! Parents, take note ... the policy addresses Parent/Guardian notes, documentation requirements, excessive absences and a waiver process. For the details, visit the C-C-S Website (ccs.k12.nc.us).
