CCS Launches REFRESHED Website, NEW Mobile App
Cumberland County Schools is excited to announce the launch of its newly refreshed CCS website and new mobile app. The new site, accessible at https://www.ccs.k12.nc.us/, has transitioned to the Thrillshare platform, which is designed to be mobile-friendly, user-friendly and ADA-compliant. Along with the website, the district has launched a new CCS mobile app to keep the community informed about what’s happening in schools across the county. Through the app, you will be able to:
- View the latest announcements
- Access staff contact information
- Check upcoming events
- Find important documents
The app provides a convenient way to stay up-to-date with CCS news, student stories and even emergency notifications—all right on your phone. If you haven't already, be sure to download the app! The free CCS app is available from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
CCS Marching Band Showcase 2024 CCS families and the community are being invited to see all of the marching bands across Cumberland County participate in CCS' Marching Band Showcase 2024. Two Classical High Schools will perform as well. The Showcase will take place Tuesday, October 15 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. on the football field at Jack Britt High School. Admission is free and concessions will be available.
LOOKING AHEAD ... Student Holiday/Staff Telework Workday Students and staff at Traditional schools, Cross Creek Early College High School, Cumberland International Early College High School and Cumberland Polytechnic High School will be observing a student holiday/staff telework day on Monday, October 21.
