Upcoming Student Holiday/Staff Workday Students and staff at Year-Round schools throughout the district will be observing a student holiday/staff workday on Monday, October 7.
Appreciating Our Military Partners
Cumberland County Schools is hosting a Military Unit Partner Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, October 11 from 11:30-1:15 p.m. in the auditorium of the William "Bill" Harrison Building (ERC), located at 396 Elementary Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
Each Unit representative will be presented with a plaque of appreciation to display at their Unit headquarters. From reading to students, serving as test proctors, providing equipment and hands-on training to students, the district sees the military units' numerous efforts and support as invaluable. Each Cumberland County school is assigned a military unit from Fort Liberty to he[p foster strong community ties, support student development and enhance numerous educational experiences.
