Every Minute Counts Spirit Week
September is Attendance Awareness Month. To celebrate the importance of school attendance, join the district in observing CCS' fun-themed Every Minute Counts Spirit Week from Monday, September 23 through Friday, September 27, according to the following schedule:
Monday, September 23
"Sock It To Good Attendance" ~ Wear Crazy Socks
Tuesday, September 24
"Twin Day: Same Place, Same Time, Everyday" ~ Wear Twin Outfits
Wednesday, September 25
"Team-Up for Attendance" ~ Wear Your Favorite Jersey or Sports Team
Thursday, September 26
"No Sneaking Out on School" ~ Wear Your Favorite Sneakers
Friday, September 27
"We're All in This Together" ~ Wear School Colors or Spirit Wear
CCS is focusing on the importance of regular school attendance. Every minute students spend in school is a step toward their bright future. CCS wants to work with families to ensure their students are present, on time and ready to learn every day. Throughout the month, schools will be planning exciting activities to motivate attendance and an 'on-time' arrival at school each day. For more information, visit CCS' Website.
