Every Minute Counts!
The district is excited that September is Attendance Awareness Month which complements CCS' year-long theme: 'Every Minute Counts.' This month, the district is focusing on the importance of regular school attendance. Every minute students spend in school is a step toward their bright future. CCS wants to work with families to ensure their student is present, on time and ready to learn every day. Throughout the month, schools will be planning exciting activities to motivate attendance and an 'on-time' arrival at school each day.
Year-Round School Holiday/Staff Telework Day, Intersessions
Schools in the district that follow the Year-Round calendar (E.E. Miller Elementary School, Anne Chesnutt Middle School and Reid Ross Classical Middle and High Schools) will be observing a Holiday/Staff Telework Day on Monday, September 16. Year-Round Intersession takes place from Tuesday, September 17 - Friday, October 4.
