Chinese New Year Celebration 'In Our Own Backyard'
World Language Students in Cumberland County Schools to share their lessons in cultural diversity
WHAT: CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION "One World, One Family"

WHERE: Seventy-First High School/Auditorium 6764 Raeford Road Fayetteville, NC 28304
WHY: This Celebration aims to foster respect and open-mindedness for other cultures and bring a global perspective to those in Cumberland County
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

4:45-6:00 p.m. -- CCS World Language teachers and students will host 10 cultural centers to introduce worldwide cultures through games, arts and crafts, traditional dancing, authentic cooking, etc.

6:15 p.m. -- Students and teachers from 10 schools will perform traditional singing, dancing and the playing of musical instruments from various countries.
