Cumberland County Board of Education Announces Leadership Roles for 2024
Fayetteville, NC – During the December 2023 regular monthly meeting of the Cumberland County Board of Education, the Board approved leadership roles for 2024.
Deanna Jones, who has served on the Board since May 2020, was reelected to serve as the chairwoman of the Board. Nathan Warfel, a member of the Board since December 2020, was reelected as the vice-chairman of the Board.
During the meeting, the Board acknowledged their leadership during the 2023 calendar year with a special token of appreciation.
"I am deeply appreciative of the trust placed in me by the Cumberland County Board of Education," said Jones. "It is a privilege to continue serving as chairwoman, and I am committed to working tirelessly to support our students, families, and educators in the coming year. Together, we will strive to provide the best possible education for our students."
