Cumberland County Schools is Recruiting Premier Professionals Through In-Person Teacher Job Fair
CCS’ Teacher Job Fair will take place from 9 a.m. until noon on April 29
Fayetteville, N.C. – Cumberland County Schools (CCS), one of Forbes’ 2021 Best-in-State Employers, is inviting community members to explore available employment opportunities throughout the district. The best educators in North Carolina and the country work in CCS, and the district is committed to recruiting, supporting and retaining impactful teachers, leaders and support staff.
Looking for that perfect job? CCS is hosting a Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. until noon, at Gray’s Creek High School (5301 Celebration Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28348), to recruit premier professionals for open teaching positions throughout the district. A variety of opportunities are available for teachers in year-round schools, ‘Choice Program’ schools, and the district’s ‘Early College’ high schools.
“Every CCS employee is vital in achieving our mission,” said Ruben Reyes, CCS’ associate superintendent of Human Resources. “We are committed to investing in and supporting our Premier Professionals. The Teacher Job Fair is one way we can discover and invest in members of our diverse community who want to support the success of every student in the classroom and beyond.”
During the fair, potential candidates will be able to interview with school administrators and learn more about teaching opportunities throughout the district. Interested applicants do not need to pre-register to attend and, upon principal recommendation and qualification, preliminary contracts may be offered.
CCS is the fifth-largest school district in North Carolina with 86 schools. As the second-largest employer in Cumberland County, the district offers numerous incentives and benefits to employees.
