Juneteenth is a celebration that celebrates the end of the enslavement of African-American people in the United States. Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas is a free, multi-cultural celebration that is in its 22nd year. It will take place June 14th to 16th, 2019 at Thomas Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue, in the heart of Plaza Midwood.
