Join us in celebrating the opening of a new segment of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway/Cross Charlotte Trail between Tyvola Road and Huntingtowne Farms Park! Walking, biking or carpooling are encouraged. Limited parking is available off Tyvola Road, directly across from the Queens University Sports Complex (right turn in & out only).

This section of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway is 1.5 miles long and connects Marion Diehl Park, Park Road Park and extensive residential areas. It's also part of the Carolina Thread Trail, a regional network of greenways, trails and blueways that reaches 15 counties and two states.

Comments will be provided by Mecklenburg County elected officials and directors, as well as neighborhood representatives. Other festivities are being planned, and we'll share those details once they are finalized.
