The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation, Charlotte
Area Transit System and Start 2 Finish are once again joining forces to host
one of Charlotte's most healthy and inspiring events: 2018 BIKE! Charlotte. With
more than 50 activities already scheduled, BIKE! Charlotte has something for
everyone starting Friday, April 27 through the following Sunday, May 13.
BIKE! Charlotte is 17 days of bicycle-related events and
promotions used to encourage families, friends and colleagues to break out the
bike and integrate it into their daily routine. The theme for the fourteenth
annual event is "Riding for a Better Community". Whether used for
transportation or recreation, bicycles are efficient, non polluting modes of
travel with great health benefits. It’s an opportunity to set your life in

The event begins Saturday, May 12 at 8 a.m. at CMC Myers Park at
1350 South Kings Drive. Event organizers expect 500 participants. The route
uses Cumberland Road, East Boulevard, Maryland Street, Westfield Street, Queens
Road West, and South Kings Drive. Visit HeartestYard

The event begins Saturday, May 12 at 9 a.m. at Wells Fargo Atrium &
Plaza at 301 South Tryon Street. Event organizers expect 1,500 participants.
The route uses South Tryon Street, South and North Graham Street and West Sixth

 AIDS Walk Charlotte
The event is on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in Historic
South End on Camden Road. Event organizers expect 3,000 attendees. Camden Road
between Park Avenue and West Boulevard will be closed from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The event begins Sunday, May 13 at 8 a.m. at Piedmont Town
Center in SouthPark. Event organizers expect 450 participants. The route uses
Barclay Downs Drive, Scofield Road, Topping Place, Manning Drive, Inverness
Road, Ferncliff Road, Colony Road, Roxborough Road and Morrison Boulevard.

The event begins Saturday, May 19 at 7 a.m. at Park Road Park.
Organizers expect 500 attendees. The route uses Park Road, Huntingtowne Farms

The event begins Saturday, May 19 at 9 a.m. at Mint Street and

The event begins Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 a.m. at Ballantyne
