Blumenthal Performing Arts and the Leon Levine Foundation
present the Charlotte Jazz Festival. A multi-day event taking place at Levine
Center for the Arts, the festival features main stage performances by the Jazz
at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Levine Avenue of the Arts, between South Church
and South Tryon Streets, will be closed from Friday, April 7 at 6 a.m. until Sunday,

National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual campaign to
bring national attention to motorist and worker safety and mobility issues in
work zones. With spring comes the start of road construction season and the key
message to drivers is “Use Extra Caution in Work Zones.”
Even
if workers are not visible in work zones, motorists should still expect
narrowed or closed lanes, traffic shifts and reduced speed limits as well as
other conditions that might affect normal travel. Remember Work Zone Safety: Everybody’s Responsibility;
please follow these tips to keep you and others safe in work zones.
