The City of Charlotte is excited to welcome the 2017 PGA Championship to
our community, August 7—13, 2017 at the Quail Hollow Club. Event organizers
expect more than 200,000 attendees. Parking in some neighborhoods surrounding
the Quail Hollow Golf Course will be restricted to one side of the street.
Gleneagles Road will be closed to through traffic between Quail Hollow Road and
Park Road from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day of the tournament. CDOT will have
staff in the Traffic Management Center to monitor traffic conditions to help

organizers expect 1,000 attendees. The 10K route uses Randolph Road, Hawthorne
Lane, East 7th Street, Central Avenue, Kennon Street, Thomas Avenue,
Commonwealth Avenue, Briar Creek Road, Washburn Avenue, Monroe Road, East 5th
Street, North Laurel Avenue and Vail Avenue. The 5K route uses Randolph Road,
North Torrence Street, Park Drive, Lamar Avenue, East 8th Street,
Ridgeway Avenue, Kenmore Avenue, North Dotger Avenue and Vail

attendees. South Mint Street from 1st to 3rd Streets will

east on Trade Street and disperses on College Street. Staging for the parade
will close Tryon Street between 9th and 11th Streets and the cross streets
between Church Street and College Street at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
