Please note: Any variations from the standard details
shown on the CLDSM website shall be by special details shown on the project

and references to standard numbers shall be removed.
Per the City of Charlotte’s IT
Department, portable devices are not allowed to be used with the City’s
Enterprise network. Portable
devices are defined as any removable media that can connect to a computer
resource. These include simple media such as USB drives, CDs, DVDs, and SD
cards. It also includes cell phones, MP3 players, tablets and external hard
drives. Using personal USB drives, disks or other forms of removable media puts
the Enterprise network at risk because files and programs on the drive are not
being scanned before being put directly onto the City’s network.
