Any current Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Certified Site Inspector can take our online recertification to gain an
additional two years of certification. Requirements for
recertification are:
- Be a Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Certified Site Inspector in good standing
- Complete the online
education modules 30 days before or after your expiration date.
- Be actively involved
in Soil Erosion and Sediment Control practices, either as a
design professional, site operator, builder or inspector
- Provide a
written outline of any activities, classes or ongoing education in
the field of soil erosion and sediment control within the preceding 24
months.
The recertification class is currently free of charge and can be found on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector website.

DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TECHNICAL ADVISORY (DSTAC) COMMITTEE: Meetings
are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month in Room 136 of the
Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC)
from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
STORM WATER ADVISORY COMMISSION (SWAC) MEETING: Meetings
are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm at the
Mecklenburg County Offices at 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC.
TREE ADVISORY COMMISSION: Meetings are typically
held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Charlotte Mecklenburg
Government Center (600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, NC) beginning at 5:00 pm.
