The Novant Health Charlotte Marathon is Saturday, November 12 at 7:30 a.m. at Romare Bearden Park, 300 South Church Street. This popular event, formerly the Thunder Road Marathon, Half-Marathon & 5K, involves numerous street and lane closures along the marathon route. The marathon will begin at South Graham Street and West on 4th Street at 7:30 a.m. It follows a course through the Dilworth, Myers Park, South End, Third Ward, Belmont, NoDa, Plaza-Midwood Commonwealth, Chantilly, Elizabeth, Second and Third Ward neighborhoods.
