corner of Randolph Road and North Colonial Avenue. Event organizers expect 1,000
attendees. The 10K route uses Randolph Road, Hawthorne Lane, Belvedere Avenue,
The Plaza Commonwealth Avenue, Briar Creek Road, Monroe Road, Dotger Avenue and

Drive, Lamar Avenue, East Eighth Street, Ridgeway Avenue, Kenmore Avenue,

- All cross streets will close – Levine Avenue of the Arts, Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard, 3rd, 4th and Trade Streets
Sunday, August 21, 10 p.m.: Streets will reopen.
The Charlotte Pride Parade will
begin Sunday, August 21 at 1 p.m. at 9th Street and Tryon
Street. The parade turns east on Trade Street and disperses on College
Street. Staging for the parade will close Tryon Street between 9th and
11th Streets and the cross streets between Church Street and College
Street at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
