 Rodney’s Great Kids Triathlon
The event begins on Saturday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at NoDa Brewing Company.
Event organizers expect 800 attendees. The route uses East 26th Street,
Pinckney Avenue, Allen Street, Grace Street, Lydia Avenue, Catawba Avenue,
Berry Street, Everett Place, Parson Street, Drummond Avenue, Duncan Avenue,

 NoDa 5K
The event begins on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 a.m. at the Harris
YMCA. Organizers expect 700 attendees. Participants swim in the indoor pool of
the Harris YMCA. The bike course uses Quail Hollow Road, Gleneagles Road, Park
Road and Sharon Road. The majority of the run course keeps runners on the YMCA

 Ramblin' Rose Women's Triathlon - Bicycle Course
The event is on Sunday, June 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the
Novant Health Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center. Event organizers expect 350
attendees. South Colonial Avenue between Providence Road and Queens Road will
be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit Novant

The event will be held on Friday,
June 10 at 5 p.m. at Romare Bearden Park. Event organizers expect 4,000

Street/lane closures are as follows:
- Thursday, June 9 at 9 a.m.: One lane of Mint
Street along Romare Bearden Park from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Third
Street for load in. All lanes, except for the one along Romare Bearden Park,
will re-open at 1 p.m.
- Friday, June 10 at 3 p.m.: One lane of Third
Street along Romare Bearden Park from Mint Street to Church Street.
- Saturday, June 11 at midnight: Third
Street reopens. Mint Street, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Third
Street closes at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The
event takes place June 10 to 12, 2016. Event hours on Friday and Saturday are from
11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Tryon Street. Event hours on Sunday are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Event organizers expect 60,000 attendees.
The following
street closures will be in place during the Taste of Charlotte:
- Tryon Street
between Stonewall and Trade Streets beginning Thursday, June 9
at 9 a.m.
- The cross-streets (Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Third Street and Fourth Street) between College
Street and Church Street beginning Thursday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. and will
reopen from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, June 10 for morning commuters.
- All streets will reopen by 10
p.m. on Sunday, June 12.
