Recognition of the 2025 W. Calvin Horton Service Award Recipient
Council recognized and celebrated Dale May as the winner of the 2025 Cal Horton Service Award, the Town’s highest employee honor. Dale is an Engineering Technician in the Traffic Division of the Public Works Department. He has served the Town with hard work and dedication for 24 years.
Public Hearing for Needs Assessment for the Community Development Block Grant Program
Council received a presentation from Town staff and opened a public hearing to receive public comment on the annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant plan.
Modification to the Conditional Zoning for 146 Stancell Drive
Council opened a public hearing for a proposed modification to the Conditional Zoning for 146 Stancell Drive and continued the hearing until November 19.
Special Use Permit (SUP) Modification for 1721 E. Franklin Street
Council considered a modification for the SUP at 1721 E. Franklin Street to allow construction of a telecommunications tower. Council voted 6-0 to approve the SUP modification.
