Hello, neighbors! We've got big news for Bolin Creek Trail users, resources for folks who are facing food shortages, and several opportunities to get to know our Guardians of the Hill. |

How to Support Those in Need of Food Assistance
Where can I get food assistance?
If you, your family, or your neighbor are facing food instability, there are local resources that can help. Check out these resources compiled by the Town, the County, and the State:
Where can I donate money?
There are many community organizations who accept monetary donations to support their work to address food insecurity. The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina supports many of those agencies, including PORCH, Table, and the Town’s food distribution. They are able to purchase food at wholesale prices, so monetary donations can often go further.
Before donating food to an organization, please contact them first to understand what they need and/or can accommodate. The Town of Chapel Hill does not have the ability to receive and store perishable or non-perishable food, so we ask that monetary donations be made to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, our partner agency for our bi-weekly food distribution.
