IotaComm, Inc. – a wireless communications and data services company – has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to downtown Chapel Hill. The company is moving into the top floor of 200 West Franklin Street.
“We’re thrilled IotaComm is calling Chapel Hill home,” said David Putnam, the Town’s Economic Development Director. “Once again, Chapel Hill stands out among competitive regional and national candidates as an ideal home base, offering instant access to top talent and research.”
IotaComm is moving its corporate headquarters from Allentown, Pennsylvania because it sees Chapel Hill as a place where it can grow its business nationwide.
“By establishing our headquarters in Chapel Hill, we’re aligning our growth trajectory with a world-class talent pool, a thriving innovation ecosystem, and a community that shares our values around sustainability, technology, and education,” said Terrence DeFranco, Chairman and CEO of IotaComm.
The company's move to Chapel Hill is a full-circle moment. DeFranco was working out of Innovate Carolina Junction, Innovate Carolina’s startup hub, when he laid the groundwork for IotaComm during its early days.
